Hope you don't mind, but I have a tiny little correction ... :)
The Gold Circle was where Giant Eagle is now, not in Riverview Plaza. Kmart has always been in Riverview, and that's always been the name of the plaza. Another bit of history - there used to be a Shop and Save where Staples is now. How do I know? I used to work there while I was in school.
My best friend's younger brother used to refer to Gold Circle as the Silver Square. Lame, I know. :)
