Getting Ready

The parade is tomorrow.

We have lots of stuff to prepare.

We are also drinking wine from the Giant Eagle vino kiosk.

What does all of this mean?

It means this is the end of today's post.

See you tomorrow morning.

(Be sure to wave at us, and scream out "we love thenewk!")

Even More To Do

Yesterday, we told you about the New Kensington
Christmas Parade coming up this Saturday.

We, as we usually are, were out of touch with everything
that was going on.

So today, with complete humility, we will fill you in
on some other events we should have mentioned.

This Friday (tomorrow), there will be a ceremonial lighting
of the city's Christmas tree at Central City Plaza.
That's at 5pm.

They will then head down the block to the #1 fire hall on
Fourth Ave., where a holiday dinner will be served.
That's at 5:30pm to 8pm.

So, "big ups" to Mayor Guzzo and all the other volunteers
that plan on cooking this generous meal.

We wish them the best of luck.

(We're not sure it will look exactly like this. But if it does,
we're very mad we didn't go.)

Thanksgiving Week (Tuesday)

So yeah, we love Thanksgiving.

Seriously.

We LOVE it.

There is nothing about it that doesn't rock.

In turn, we like to celebrate.

And celebrating to us, means doing as little as possible.
(It also means drinking a bunch of beer.)

So today, we post a few pictures that a great friend of ours took
for us at the New Ken/Arnold Veterans parade.

She took a bunch, but we will only post a couple today.

Enjoy.

And introducing to you...

The Greatest. Socks. Ever.

Woooo!

What a great start to Thanksgiving week, eh?

It's gonna be a good one.

We can feel it.
